Depending on what you want to look at in counselling, we can decide together the best approach for you.

How long are the sessions?

The sessions will last for 50 minutes and are regular weekly appointments at the same time of day. Dependent on what is troubling you, four to six sessions may be enough time to gain insight and confidence to move on. Others may need longer to tell their story and to be understood.

What do I need to do?

All you need to do is to make a commitment to yourself that you will look at what is not working for you in your life, the sessions are your time.

How much does it cost?

The fee per 50 minute counselling session is £40 for individuals and £45 for couples.

This is negotiable in special circumstances.

What is my safeguard?

I am regularly supervised  and I work within The British Association for Counsellors guidelines http://www.bacp.co.uk/.

What does confidentiality mean?

It means that nothing that you say will be revealed to anyone without your consent. At supervision, cases not people are discussed. The only time that confidentiality would be broken would be if I thought that there was a danger of you harming yourself or others or if there was a child at risk.
